Class Description: "Sheen Sateen Smocked and Beaded Dress".

Have you ever wondered if you could smock an entire dress without any of the stitches showing? The smocking design featured on this 100% cotton, sheen sateen dress has a seed bead slipped on with every stitch. The result is a beautiful and interesting texture on the front of the project. The white beads on the front of the smocking are perfectly complimented by the white Swiss voile collar which features dozens of ⅛” tucks and ‘dotted' Swiss edging. The Swiss edging is carried over on the feminine, but not too puffy sleeves, paired with wide Swiss beading. White cotton organdy sashes add a lovely addition to the back of the dress. The hem is bound with the white Swiss voile. The class kit will come with the dress front torn to size, interfaced, and pleated with eleven full space rows. The pattern in sizes 4, 6, 8, and 10 will be included with the class kit. There will be five kit color choice options (red, baby pink, baby blue, turquoise, and royal), all paired with white beads, white collar and sashes, and white laces. Basic geometric smocking ability is a pre-requisite for this class.
